Since 2021, North Peak has welcomed Phoenix House pupils on seasonal expeditions that blend curriculum goals with genuine adventure. Across spring thaws and autumn colours, children have traced volcanic steam vents, built bird-callers in our maker lab, mapped forest ecosystems and shared stories with local Ainu artisans. Guided by specialist instructors and their own teachers, they test ideas, develop new skills and discover interests that endure long after the coach pulls away. Every programme is built on the belief that young people flourish when their talents are noticed, stretched and celebrated—and when learning feels as joyful as it is meaningful.
